The Ajegunle music star, who will be having his recent first major performance in Abuja at the Tyme Out with Tee-A Live Edition Concert, in an interview with MERCY MICHAEL, opened up on sundry issues: His disappearance from the music scene, career and his son’s, Ramond, music dream. The Delta State-born act also speaks on the Delta flood of October 2012.
You've been scarce on the music scene lately. What brings you here today?
As you can see, we artistes are gathered together to deliberate on how we can help the flood victims in Delta State. Like my place Isoko in general is affected. I’m from Delta State. And you see, sometimes we ignore things. If when things become a problem that’s when we start coming together.
But why I’m happy that we are even coming together is the fact that beyond talking we are actually working out modalities on how we can help these displaced people. We as artistes, we need to learn how to use our star power to help the society and that’s what we are doing.

Annie Macaulay – Idibia Mobbed

Guess the one she chose? ‘If Love is A Crime’! The crowd went wild. Indeed, he remains a ladies’ man.

Wizkid’s Girlfriend Steps Up Her Game

In a relationship with hip-hop crooner, Ayo Balogun a.k.a Wizkid, she has earned a spot on the social scene ever since they made their first public appearance together last February.
Last weekend, they walked in hand-in-hand into the venue of Omawumi’s concert and and not a few people stretched their necks in her direction just to catch a glimpse of her.

Beyonce Insults Fat and Overweight People?

Beyonce’s fans are calling foul over a promotional photo circulating on the Internet.
The photo shows the smiling singer holding up an empty plate with the words “MISS A MEAL” printed on the plate.
“Hell Na, Tf wrong with B?,” tweeted one enraged fan on Twitter.com Thursday. “Beyonce supporting anorexia,” tweeted another.

There is no explanation for the promotional photo, which left fans wondering if the message on Beyonce’s plate was intended as a subtle fig at overweight people. Knowing Beyonce, it’s no coincidence that this promo is released 2 days after singer Tyrese Gibson reportedly insulted calorically challenged people, calling them “fat and nasty” during an interview.

Whether you like it or not, it is the best option but it's not a do or die thing though. I have been there before and if I'm going to do it again, it has to be right by the Grace of God. Nigerian Idol 3 finale; Femi Kuti, D'Banj, Omawumi, all hail Moses

Moses Obi-Adigwe has become the first male contestant to emerge winner of the third season of Nigeria's most-viewed TV reality show, the Nigerian Idol! Unknown Gunmen Kill Younger Brother Of NNPC GMD In Kaduna

According to SaharaReporters, the younger brother of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Group Managing Director, Engr. Andrew La'ah Yakubu was gruesomely murdered by unknown gunmen in Kaduna this morning.

The gun men in conjunction with their collaborators reportedly trailed the GMD's younger brother from Kaduna town as he set off to Southern Kaduna to attend a funeral in Zangon Kataf local government area of the state.

The deceased was traveling with his wife and little girl before they were ambushed in the middle of the road around Kachia local government area, the fate of the other occupants in his car remains unknown.

Triplets wed same day

Triplets - two guys and a girl, got married same day. Mayowa, Tope and Funmi Ogunsemo (1st, 3rd and 6th in the photo above) married their heartthrobs day before yesterday April 13th at the Shell Hall of the Muson Centre in Lagos. Their parents must be so proud! Happy married life to them!

Church responds to Solomon Akiyesi's disrupted wedding

Overcomers World Outreach, the church where Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi attempted to marry another while still legally married, has responded to the incident that happened yesterday. See their statement below, written by Chika Moses, who is a journalist and the daughter of Bishop N.E. Moses, the General Overseer of the Overcomers Church.

A Hilux van belonging to the Ikoyi Golf Club with registration number KS918AU plunged into the Majidun River in the Ikorodu area of Lagos in the early hours of yesterday morning. Four people, including the Golf Club manager Mr Kolawole Ahmed, was in the van when the accident occurred around 5:30 am as they headed home from work.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) officials and divers that conducted the search and rescue said they are yet to find survivors but will continue with the search.

Drake calls Chris Brown insecure; confirms he dated Rihanna briefly

Married actor, Solomon Akiyesi, left his 8 months pregnant wife in Port Harcourt and came to Lagos to marry his mistress, Uloma Agwu (pictured above at their wedding this morning). I sent someone to the church to take photos. I'm hoping to speak with Lilian later. See the photos after the cut...

Married Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi's wedding to mistress disrupted by wife

This sounds like something out of a movie, but it's real life. Let me tell you guys the story. Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi married Lilian Akiyesi seven years ago, after the two dated for six years. (Pictured above on their wedding day). So they've been together for thirteen years. After trying for years to conceive, Lilian finally got pregnant last year...but unknown to her, her husband was having an affair with a Lagos based lady. (Lilian and Solomon are based in Port Harcourt).

Kevin Lucciano Gabriel and Maria Mogoli got married traditionally yesterday. Happy married life!

Picture of 2 Men Caught with Stolen Nitel Cables Valued at N250 million

The men you see above were captured by Police who said they caught them when the vehicle they used in conveying the stolen Nitel Cables broke down along Osborne Estate expressway, Ikoyi, Lagos at about 3a.m.

They were actually 5 suspects but 3 out of the 5 escaped leaving Femi David, 28, (the ring leader who claimed he resides at Ijora and a native of Igbokoda in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria) and Michael Etoke, 31, (from Calabar, Cross River State, southsouth Nigeria, resides at 26, Ijora Badia Street, Ijora, Lagos).

Don't know what this world is turning into. How can a father impregnant his two daughters? This is how vanguard reported it..

This is so touching I must say. Late Goldie who died on 14th February this year has done a noble thing.

She has willed all the money that would be realised from the sales of her property to an NGO Charity outfit: "Project Alert On Violence Against Women."
