Nigerian Music star, Sound Sultan, was robbed at the airport
today, with the lock on his bag broken and valuables stolen. Here are
photos he shared on his Instagram:
It’s a sad thing they still break open our luggage and make away with valuables @ Nigerian airports ,we r on the matter I must get back my stuff or its money’s worth ,they emptied 1 lady’s bag , like 10 of us same flight 4 laptops watches shoes.
It’s unfortunate that Nigeria has become an unsafe place. Kidnapping, killings and robbery…….. even the airports you trust to keep you and your luggage safe can’t live up to expectations anymore.

The 9th edition of the African Movie
Academy Awards was held in Yenegoa, Bayelsa on Saturday, April 20,
2013, with the theme – ‘Africa One’. The classy event hosted by Ama K.

Guardian tortures 12-year-old girl for getting raped
According to Punch, the Ogun State Police Command arrested a man named
Edwin Alagbaso, for allegedly torturing his 12-year-old ward who was a
rape victim. The man basically blamed her for 'causing' the rape and
tortured her with razor blade, knife and iron rod. The young girl
sustained injuries to the scalp, had swollen fingers, bruised abdomen,
swollen eyes and mouth.

A gasoline tanker traveling on narrow road in a residential area in Ibadan caught fire from a local cooking fire place leading to fire explosions that have now gutted 25 houses and 45 shops in Omitowoju area of Ibadan city in Oyo state.National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said they are working to stop the raging inferno before looking into the number of casualty caused by the fire.
