Two brothers and a pregnant woman shot dead in Surulere last night
Two brothers (pictured above) were shot dead around 8pm last night as they hung out with friends at a bar not to far from Shitta Primary School near Ogunmola street. A pregnant woman was unfortunately hit by a stray bullet during the attack. She was pronounced dead at the hospital she was rushed to. The dead brothers, (The one in white is Mufu) were not older than 25. Policemen were called to the area last night but no arrest has so far been made. Will bring an update on this story later.

Award winning alternative soul singer, Bez Idakula,
is getting married. The 'Stupid Song' crooner yesterday May 1st got
engaged to his long-time love, Bolatito Ladoja, the daughter of
Ex-governor of Oyo state, Rasheed Ladoja. Bolatito (pictured right) is a
corporate banker with FCMB.
She is a graduate of International Relations in
Warwick University UK and has her Masters in Management from Imperial
College London. Congrats to them.
US Withdraws Military Assistance To Nigeria Over Baga Massacre?
The United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Terence P. McCulley in a private meeting today Thursday May 2nd in Abuja disclosed the US government position to about ten members of the human rights community in Nigeria. Mr. Terrence said that the US congress had passed a law that bars the US from rendering military assistance to any government that violates basic rights of citizens. He said the US govt has therefore ceased to assist Nigeria militarily in obedience to the law.
The US before now supported the Nigerian military and security agencies with training, intelligence and weapons.

They were both at the first Nigerian Entertainment Conference and were together all through the event.
We hear that they arrived together and left together – we can’t wait to see Olamide working hand in hand with the koko master!

The final moments of the flight of the cargo plane that crashed Monday in Afghanistan, killing all seven crew members, appear to have been captured on a dashboard camera. The approximately 3-minute video shows what appears to be the Boeing 747-400 jet climbing shortly after takeoff, at 11:20 a.m., from Bagram Airbase. But some 12 seconds into the video, the jet appears to stall, rolls from side to side, and drops.
At 23 seconds, the plane crashes, nose first, into the ground off the side of the road, erupting into a ball of orange flame and black smoke.
