"Jim Iyke Unscripted not scripted" - Jim Iyke

His ex-fiancee, Keturah Hamilton recently released a press statement claiming the reality show was scripted but Jim says it's not true. The actor explains:

"I am sure you saw part of the clips. Somebody sped off and jumped inside the river. That was a friend of mine. I don't think anybody will accept a script in order to die. I don't ever think anybody could have scripted that. If it was scripted, we would make sure that the lightning, the angles at which we shot was right. The dark pictures and angles at which it was shot is an evidence that it was not scripted. As soon as I wake up and I am ready to go out, they clip something in my jacket to record every conversation that I made through out the day. There's nothing hidden."

Evangelist Eucharia Anunobi receives Christian leadership award

The actress turned evangelist yesterday May 11th received the "Ambassador of Religious Peace and Unity International Merit Award 2013" from the National Leadership of the Niger Delta Christian Network, Abuja.

The honour was conferred on her by His Eminence, ArchBishop Ambrose Joseph Milner, of Yeshua Embassy of Churches Int'l Inc. Philadelphia, USA at Excellence Hotel in Ikeja. Congrats to her!

Most of you have read the story, but just to remind you. On Tuesday April 30th, a 25 year old bricklayer named Akinloye Anuoluwapo slit his ex-girlfriend's throat, a 21year old girl named Rafiyat Akinyemi, then had sex with her as she bled to death in her father's house at Ogijo in Ogun state.

The girl had dumped him and that was too much for him to take. He went to her house armed with a knife and attacked her. Akinloye (pictured above) explains what led to the killing...

A 52 year old man identified as Adeolu Adeleke was crushed to death at Marina Car Park, Lagos Island, on Friday May 10th during heavy rain when a communication mast fell from a 2-storey building and crushed him to death.

The roadside trader met his untimely death as he went to protect his wares from heavy rain and winds. He'd dashed across the street to fetch something to cover his wares but the mast fell on him as he made his way back to his shade. See more photos after the cut. *viewer discretion advised*

So I just met this guy 2 yrs ago and so far, its been a good relationship. Could it be better? Definitely. How they got me pregnant at Imo State baby factory - victim narrates

The Imo State police command rescued 17 pregnant teenagers from a baby making factory in the state this week. . Below is an update on the story from The Nation..

Nine girls, forced into pregnancy at a ‘baby factory’ in Imo State ,yesterday spoke of how they became victims. The nine were arrested by the police yesterday after initially escaping during a raid of the ‘baby factory’.

Their arrest brings to 26 the number of victims rescued from Ahamefula Motherless Babies Home, Umuaka in Njaba Ciouncil Area of the state. They are aged between 14 and 25.

The kind of madness going on in some parts of Nigeria is unbelievable. If you live abroad and hear some of these stories, you would be too scared to come back home. But thankfully this violence is not spread across Nigeria. I'm sure by now most of you have heard about the killing of many security operatives in Nassarawa State. Former Chief Coach of the Super Falcons, Joseph Ladipo, popularly known as Jossy Lad, has died aged 72. Jossy Lad died in his house yesterday Thursday May 9th after a battle with a heart related ailment and prostate cancer. Mr Ladipo died while having breakfast yesterday morning according to his daughter, Bimbo Olalere. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

Runaway househelp: Who knows Mary Ogri?

Mary Ogri is a 14 year old girl from Igede in Benue state. She is a runaway house help. She was brought to Lagos to work but she claims she was mistreated by her madam and oga and decided to run away. She left home yesterday morning, slept in a strange woman's house and set out this morning to find her way back home but was brought by a bus to Victoria Island. She was found by a group of men this morning in front of Park N Shop and a good samaritan decided to let the media know. Mary Ogri has no idea what her madam's address is but it's somewhere in Lagos.

Hotelier & politician Prince Buruji Kashamu robbed of $62,000 on Arik flight

On Tuesday May 7th, popular hotelier and politician Prince Buruji Kashamu was on Arik flight no - W3155 from Lagos to Abuja, Time- 15h00. Ticket number 7253293631462-1. Seat no- 4F, when his $62, 000 disappeared from his briefcase. Below is what he said.

"I have never heard of this type of daylight robbery and didn't think I would be the first but the next time it happens to me, Arik Air should be ready for me.

I had $62,000 ( sixty two thousand dollars) in my briefcase and saw the money just before I went through screening. I noticed in the car on my way to the hotel that the money has mysteriously left my suitcase.

Arik air either has a ring of thieves doing this operation in collaboration with the operators of the screening machine or has a spirit that steals from its overhead compartment."

I heard that some people actually buy business class tickets just to steal from the rich men in that section of the plane. This is not the first time we are hearing about people losing things on the plane. The airline companies need to be more vigilant.

BUSTED! Escaped Convict Did Surgery To Become A Woman Just To Avoid Recapture

This man/woman is so busted. An escaped Colombian convict, Giovanni Rebolledo, underwent surgery for breast implant, dress like a woman and became 'Rosalinda' to avoid being sent back to jail.

He was sentenced in 2012 to 60 years imprisonment for kidnapping, robbery and extortion.

After the extreme makeover, he started working as a prostitute in the Viejo Prado district of the northern coastal city of Barranquilla.

He was jailed last year for his involvement in the Los Topos criminal gang who used beautiful women to seduce wealthy men into coming home with them; once under the gang's control, the men would be tortured with electric shocks into handling over their bank cards, their pin numbers and other valuables.

Despite his new appearance, police were able to recognize him on during a routine stop-and-search operation.

BUSTED: Gospel Singer Hires Hitman To Kill Wife

Grammy-nominated rocker, Tim Lambesis, 32, the lead singer of christian heavy metal band "As I Lay Dying" tried to hire a hit man to kill his estranged wife, Meggan Lambesis, the mother of his three adopted children.

He was served divorced papers by his wife in September 2012 and apparently, that didn't go well with him as he went ahead to hire a hitman to kill her. Fortunately, the hitman was an undercover detective.

Authorities got the information and acted on it before it was too late.

His band has released six albums and it's most successful was "An Ocean Between Us" which soared to No.8 on the Billboard chart in 2007. His group recently returned from tour in Asia. The group record label 'Metal Blade' is yet to comment on the issue.

Lambesis was arrested in Oceanside, Southern California and charged with solicitation of another to commit murder.

I’m a dreamer, and I don’t mean that in the literal sense or in the literal context of going to sleep and dreaming even though that’s very nice because that’s when I get to drive and play golf.

But a picture of an average guy who lies down and faces the ceiling and just dreams away. Fortunately for me, a lot of things I have dreamt about in my life have come true. I believe strongly that one of the strong elements that fuel my very strong sense of imagination and my ability to dream is the gift of blindness. And I’m going to share with you, a couple of things that I have leant and a couple of life lessons that could be invaluable to you as well that I have learnt from Blindness.

So to start with, I will state the obvious fact that I was born blind. No one else in my family of six children is blind. There’s no known cause. No links. No explanation. Just the reality that I cannot see with my eyes.

I was born and raise in the military barracks. I don’t mean the great side of the military barracks but the other side of the military barracks. I lived in a small block of 18 two bedroom flats. I shared a flat my two parents, my three siblings and whatever stray pet came out way at a time. As well as my father’s Honda Roadmaster 180 Motorcycle, which slept in the living room with me and my siblings for fear that one of its mirrors might be stolen by morning.

Fine girl no pimple, its good to celebrate people like this at times, people God washed his hands before moulding, her name is Braide ibilate, From- Rivers State, School- Igbinedion University Okada, Comp science and information technology. She likes, dancing, singing, and travelling.
