Stephen Keshi who had before the game said: "My Boys Will Deal With France" when asked by BBC correspondent Shina Okeleji after the game if he will be staying on as coach replied saying: “I don’t know”.
Keshi said: “It’s a pity that we lost, It was an important match, I don’t think we deserved to lose but that’s football.”
“We have shown we can compete at a high level, everyone saw it and I have no regrets.
“We played well even in defeat. My future? At the moment I don’t know. I still think we can improve a lot, we have a lot of young players and there’s room for improvement” he said.
It was reported on June 23 that Stephen Keshi has agreed to a 2-year deal with South African Soccer Federation (SAFA) to manage the Bafana Bafana national team

Meanwhile Keshi while speaking at a recent press conference had said that Nigeria would not be the last country for him to coach, adding that he would like to proceed as Nigeria coach "if the terms are right".
Nigeria, however, will in September start playing qualifying games for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Keshi
ended the chat with reporters by saying, "We had a very good game, but
were unlucky to lose. The score line does not tell the whole story. We
