The former minister was taken round stands mounted in the school’s premises to inspect items as well as services displayed for sale by students of the school’s entrepreneurial club and parents. Among the stands were those of free counseling services, free eye test, cancer awareness and free legal service.
Students and parents also had fun with outdoor and indoor games, while tug of war contests were competed by both sexes. Presentations were made by Elizade University, Helwelt Systems Limited on electronic white boards.
Acting Director of National Mathematical Centre, Professor Solarin, also drew attention at the event, when he spent time solving mathematical equations presented to him by the school’s teachers off hand.
He solved each equation very quickly, which drew ovation after the sums were found correct when crosschecked using a calculator
