Right now, the 6 contestants left are Safeeyat, Debbie Rise, Efezino, Jay Feel, Abasi Akang and Moses. Voting for any of these contestants must be difficult! The performances were simply, in one word, electric! Songs performed were strictly Nigerian ones done by favourites like Seyi Shay, Omawumi and Chuddy K.

Nigerian Idol 3 Top 6 performances
Sunday night on Nigerian Idol 3, sponsored by
Etisalat Nigeria, was totally ethnic to the core! From Ankara shoes
to strictly local songs, the Top 6 contestants gave their Nigerian
best. Were you aware it was the Nigerian Music Week? It
was hard not to laugh at the judges and host, Ill Rhymz when their baby
photos appeared on the screen, just before performances started on the
Top 6 Gala Show.

The 3rd guest judge to join Femi Kuti,
Jeffrey Daniels and Yinka Davies turned out to be broadcaster and
voice-over
artiste, Femi Sowoolu. His voice is truly legendary! So far, Sasha and
Naeto C have been guest judges on the NI3. If you missed seeing the judges dancing azonto,
maybe you should tune in on Sunday next week! More photos below
