Parents Kill Daughter For Getting Pregnant Out Of Wedlock
A Kashmir-Pakistani couple has confessed to killing their 18 year old daughter for getting pregnant out of wedlock.
The
couple, who considered their daughter’s action as a dishonour to the
family, had, on 14 March, declared their daughter missing to Kotli City
Police authorities, according to a BBC report.But, the discovery of her chopped off body and dismembered head by villagers gave the killer parent away.
Investigation later revealed the parent had partaken in “honour killing’ of their daughter on 6 March to preserve the family’s integrity.
The parents confessed to the Police it was the reason they had chopped off the deceased’s body with an axe.

Jos Crisis: Plateau Widows Seek God’s Intervention
Plateau State has witnessed a surge of attacks since the last part of 2012. Widows in Plateau State, Tuesday, gathered in six different places of the three geopolitical zones to offer intercessory prayers to God to intervene in the incessant killings in the state.
The Commander of the Special Task-force on Jos crisis, Henry Ayoola, joined the women and went on his knees to pray for the return of peace at the Church of Christ in Nigeria, COCIN, Gigiring, Howshe, Jos South Local Government Area of the State.
Shortly after the prayers, Mr. Ayoola explained that the reason he joined the widow’s prayer session is because God answers the prayers of the widows and the oppressed.
“When a widow cries to God for any injustice done her, God will certainly intervene, because widows occupy a special place according to Biblical injunctions, so they have favor from God,” he said. On his part, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Plateau State chapter, Philip Dafes, spoke on the relevance of the event.

Kim was spotted entering a plastic surgeon’s office the day before, and in these photos, her face does appear puffier than usual. Based on her Instagram photos, Kim appears to have gotten acupuncture instead of plastic surgery.
But we’re still a bit confused. Do plastic surgeons usually offer acupuncture?

Three Students Set Themselves On Fire In Public (Photo)
A student leader said that three
university students set fire to themselves on the campus of Senegal’s
largest university to protest changes in the way credits are being
counted in the college’s geography department.
Seydou Niang, who organised a week-long hunger strike, said that three of his classmates doused themselves in gasoline and set themselves alight on Friday. Niang spoke on the telephone from the hospital, where he had accompanied the three. He said all three had survived, but one had suffered severe burns and was in intensive care.
The University of Cheikh Anta Diop was once one of the most prestigious universities in West Africa. It has fallen into disrepair and the campus is frequently immobilised both by student protests and strikes by the low-paid professors.

A 23-years-old young man was caught
performing what he said he has practiced for 5years.
The
young man (name withheld) was apprehended, after stealing phones,
laptops, clothes, food items and money belonging to some students of
COHEST Ijero Ekiti.
His timing was so right, but unfortunately for him, a female student was in one of the rooms where the 23-year-old attempted to steal from. It was this female student who raised alarm lead to bring down the thief or police as the police will call it, the suspect.
He was immediately
showered with massive beaten from the students, he was also striped
unclad, before he was handed over to the police. It was clear the he is
not a student of the health institution.
The

Friday, 15 March marked the untimely exit of Pa Daniel Mbonde, a retired Prison Warder beheaded in his farm by his own son whose name Cameroon Tribune got as Gabriel Mbonde alias “Daddy Black”.
Gabriel, 25, is presently languishing at the Buea Central Police station cell while the headless body of the father by press time (3pm Saturday) was brought to the family compound around the ‘Pala Pala field’ neighbourhood by the police for burial.
