Pastor Ituah Ighodalo & wife dedicate 5,000 capacity worship centre

Pastor Ituah Ighodalo's Trinity House has finally moved to a permanent site after almost three years of renting the Landmark Village for worship. The new place called Zion Centre is located on Water Corporation Drive, off Ligali Ayorinde in Victoria Island. It was dedicated on Sunday April 7th which was also Pastor Ighodalo's 52nd birthday.

'Wearing natural hair is unbearable for many black women ' - Adichie

While talking about her new novel Americanah, with Kate Kellaway of The Observer, award winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie said black women should embrace their natural hair. When asked to give an honest description of her hair and what it says about her, Chimamanda replied:

That is the best question! My hair is in tiny cornrows; I have a big ponytail on the top of my head. I quite like it. It is natural. I am a bit of a fundamentalist when it comes to black women's hair. Hair is hair – yet also about larger questions: self-acceptance, insecurity and what the world tells you is beautiful. For many black women, the idea of wearing their hair naturally is unbearable.

Four church leaders killed in Borno State

Four church leaders of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) located in Gwoza village in Borno state were killed on Monday April 8th by gunmen believed to be members of Islamic sect, Boko Haram.

The four men identified as Iliya Tada, Ayuba Yusuf, Idris Dogo and a fourth victim were gunned down while resting near the church premises after a service. Their attackers rode into the church in a bike and opened fire. The dead men were buried today.

New study shows women prefer well-endowed men

Before? Lol. According The NY Post, a new study not only shows that women prefer well-endowed men, but suggests this actually may have contributed to the lengthening of penises over time.

“We found that flaccid penis size had a significant influence on male attractiveness,” the University of Ottawa study says.
And, based on that finding, “female mate choice could have played a role in the evolution of the relatively large human male penis.”

To understand what this is about, let me give you a brief summary. Four Leadership newspaper journalists published something they said was a presidential directive on ACN on their website (find it HERE), a few days later, police stormed their office in Abuja and picked them up.

North Korea is preparing to launch a mid-range missile launch today from its east coast, officials in Seoul have claimed – hours after foreigners living in South Korea were warned to leave the country.

Meanwhile the Communist government issued a stark warning about the prospect of war, saying: 'We do not wish harm on foreigners in South Korea should there be a war.'

Seeing your car goes up in flame can cause a hopeless feeling, but it's killing when the car is worth $1.7 million.

A 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV worth $1.7 million, caught fire in London over the weekend. The rare auto was formerly the fastest production car in the world.

Based on Youtube video posted over the weekend, it seems that car's mid-engine design was the fatal flaw. the bulk of the fire is centered on the spot between the front and rear axles where the car's engine lies.

Traffic stopped on the street as the fire raged on while waiting for the emergency crew. But by the time the fire fighters arrived, the car's rear tires were completely gone while it's midsection appeared to be gutted.

According to James Cottingham, Classic car specialist, he said "The Lamborghini Miura SV is never beyond repair, it will need full restoration but the car will be back on the road."

This is a trend picking up in China and these are dogs wearing pantyhose. People who are trying to humanize pets and make them their companion are really sick. This is ridiculous and extremely creepy.

I think i will call this Animal abuse. Poor dogs! lol

One of the biggest challenges I had when moving to Sokoto State for my NYSC was adjusting to the silence. Not the silence of the city, but rather the silence that comes from me being quiet- me being alone. My friends know me to be a talkative. I talk almost all the time. And yes! I try to make sense when I talk. How was I now to adapt to this new phase of my life? How was I to go on with my daily activities to utter silence? Yeah! There are times I shut myself to the noise of this world and go into meditation. But this doesn’t happen all the time.

Police Officer’s Wife In Trouble For Maltreating Maid

A police officer’s wife, Chioma Egbes, who has allegedly been in the habit of beating up a 10-year- old house maid, Miracle Ndubisi, got what she did not bargain for when a good Samaritan reported her to the police.

Mrs. Egbes brought the housemaid from her village, Owerri, to Lagos in December, last year. The good Samaritan, Ola Babafemi, who is based in Canada came to visit his friend, Adebisi Oke at Ikotun area of Lagos on Easter Monday when he saw the badly battered girl in a super market.
