Suspected Bomber Burnt To Death In Kano, Nigeria.

Yesterday night, a suspected bomber was burnt to death by Kano residents after an unsuccessful attempt to detonate a bomb at Kofar Kwaru, near the Emir of Kano's palace.
A witness who pleaded anonymity told reporters that no casualty was recorded when the bomber threw what was suspected to be an improvised explosive device (IED). He added that the suspects were riding a tricycle and one of the suspects was caught and burnt by people when he tried to run away after throwing the IED, while the others were handed over to the security operatives.
The spokesman of the Joint Task Force in Kano, Capt Ikedichi Iweha, confirmed the incident and added that the area has been sealed off by security men and that more details will be given soon.
The former military president, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, said a fortnight ago that the ordinary citizens of the country should engage in fighting the activities of Boko Haram insurgents. He advised Nigerians to adopt the "Azare style", referring to the method adopted by residents of Azare in Bauchi State to deal with suspected terrorists.
Last year, Azare residents over-powered some gunmen who invaded the town and they have been living in peace since then.
