Emir of Kano Alhaji Ado Bayero

Emir of Kano Alhaji Ado Bayero has returned to Kano after travelling to
London for medical check up a day after gunmen attacked his convoy in
Kano and killed three of his body guards on January 19.
Bayero, who had arrived Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA)
around 7pm on Wednesday from London aboard a Nigeria Airforce plane, was
warmly received by the teaming crowd at the airport.
The huge crowd defied all the security measures put in place at the
airport and surged into the premises to welcome the emir.
