photo“Since my children have the kind of passion I had about 49 years ago when I started acting at age 12, I cannot stop them, mind you they graduated from the university before coming into theatre. For example, Femi is a lawyer, producer and actor. Tope is a Computer Scientist, actress, producer and marketer. Sadiq is a Geologist, actor, producer and director, while Rilwan who also studied Computer Science is an editor and producer.”

Oga Bello, who started with the group, Young Stars Concert Party and later joined the late Ojo Ladipo Group which later transformed into Awada Keri Keri Group after Ladipo’s death, said when he started acting his parents and friends did not support him.
“Looking back today, I thank God for my life and that of my children especially those in my profession,” he says. Speaking on the working relationship between him and his children, Oga Bello said it is strictly business. Hear him: “Though, they can waive some things for me as I will always do for them, but when it comes to business, it is strictly business.” The versatile actor said that he is currently working on a film entitled, Alo nlo Abo nbo.
