PHOTOS: Ten Plastic Surgery Risks You Need To Know

Cosmetic surgery enhanced the body via surgery, but is not medically necessary. Just like any surgery, facial cosmetic surgery has several risks, including infections, bleeding or blindness in the eyes, dry eyes, and damage to blood vessels or nerves or muscles in the eye. These are few conditions which may occur with eyelid surgery.

Some serious complications include unbearable pain, asymmetry, allergic reactions, extended healing times, and temporary or permanent loss of eyelash.

What Are The Risks Of Cosmetic Surgery?

Some of the risks which are associated with the cosmetic surgery are:
Excessive Bleeding:
Bleeding after surgery is common. If excess bleeding occurs and gets clotted under the skin, thenhematoma takes place. This condition will make skin firm and change the color of the skin to purple or blue. It also causes some pain.
Drop In The Blood Pressure: Drop of blood pressure during surgery is normal, but a sudden and steep fall of blood pressure can result in the irregular heartbeat or even a heart attack.
Infections: The surgery can result in numerous infections that can affect the operated part or even other distant organs of the body. If a large quantity of blood is lost,it can also result in infections.
Asymmetry: Sometimes cosmetic surgery gives rise to some kind of asymmetry of the organ or some particular part. Such asymmetries can only be cured only by a second surgery. If the asymmetry is mild,it does not affect much, but extreme asymmetry can cause problems.
Necrosis: This is when tissues die due to insufficient supply of the oxygen to the operated part. Plastic surgeries likeface-lifts, tummy tucks, and reductions of breasts are more like to have this complication compared to other plastic surgeries.
