Prophet Talabi: I'm Alive, Not Dead

The General Overseer of Evangelical Apostolic Church Worldwide, Prophet Olatunji Talabi, popularly called "Baba Lesekese" has condemned rumours of his death.
Speaking with journalists at his church, 70, Mojisola Street, Ifako Ijaiye, Ogba, Lagos, Prophet Talabi described the rumours of his death as a shock to him.

He, however, said he was not surprised about the rumours because God revealed to him that he has a lot of work to do in the world which he has not completed.
Narrating how he received the news of his death, Prophet Talabi said some members of his church from Ondo State called his personal assistant to sympathise with him on the alleged death of his boss.
He also said many people called him from London and United States to confirm the story of his death. Baba Lesekese said he tried to know the source of the story making the rounds.
He explained that he discovered that there was a prophet in his native town who claimed to be the true Baba Lesekese.
This prophet, he said, was involved in an accident in Ekiti State and he subsequently died. People who heard the news mistook him for that prophet. "I am not dead but alive," he stated.
Prophet Talabi also spoke on his ministry’s 11th year anniversary that will take place from 13 March to 17 March, 2013, at the church auditorium, in Ogba, Lagos.
He described the anniversary as his own way of thanking God for what He had done for him and members of his church and not an avenue to raise or make money. He stated further that his target this year is to win more souls for God.
He warned the wicked to turn away from their wickedness and that God is merciful to set the captives free from bondage. The anniversary will begin with a powerful revival on Wednesday, 13 March, 2013 by 4 p.m. and will climax with a special thanksgiving service on Sunday, 17 March, 2013.
He disclosed that anointed men of God will be part of the programme. Gospel singer, Dare Melody, will lead other gospel acts to minister through songs at the anniversary.
